I worked in Singapore for 2 years with South Indian families. In my first employer’s house, I did general housework such as cleaning, washing clothes, ironing, sweeping, and mopping in a 3-storey house with 5 family members and another maid. My English was still basic at that time, and the employer preferred a helper with better English communication.

In my second employer’s house, I also did general housework and helped Ahma with cooking. I took care of sick Ahkong by changing diapers, feeding, showering, and giving massage. I worked in a 4-person HDB household. I stopped because I could not sleep properly as I needed to wake up many times at night to care for Ahkong.

I can cook simple South Indian food like chapati and dosa, and I can also prepare Mizo food. I am willing to take care of elderly, disabled, and children. I have one child who is 3 years old. I hope to continue working to support my family.
